KTCD continues to make a positive impact in Mikese Ward by providing baking skills training to young mothers, enabling them to gain practical knowledge, start small businesses, and improve their household incomes.

During a field visit, the Director of Swisscontact, Madam Sabine, held a productive discussion with the former Director of Kijogoo Tanzania, Mr. Ramadhan Said.

KTCD participated in a government stakeholder meeting held on 21 May 2026 at Mvomero District Council (DC) offices, aimed at discussing the contribution of the private sector to social and economic development.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including the Executive Director of Mvomero DC, Paulo Faty, the Vice Chairperson, Hon. Jamaica Magali, the District Administrative Secretary, Said Nguya, and the District NGO Coordinator, Mariana Nyoni, alongside other NGOs operating in the district.
The discussions emphasized strengthening collaboration between the government, NGOs, and the private sector to drive inclusive social and economic development within the district. KTCD remains committed to working closely with government authorities and development partners to enhance sustainable community impact.
